Privacy Policy

This is a general template, provided for a simulated platform, and is not a substitute for legal review before any commercial launch.

1. What we collect

  • Account information: your name (optional) and email address.
  • Simulated trading activity: challenge purchases, simulated orders/positions, and the rules snapshot attached to your account.
  • Payment metadata: the amount, currency, and status of your challenge fee payment, plus the raw webhook events from our payment provider, retained for audit purposes. We do not receive or store your card details — those are handled entirely by our payment provider.
  • Basic session data: hashed authentication tokens, needed to keep you signed in.

2. How we use it

We use this data to operate your account: activating challenges after payment is verified, running the simulated trading engine, evaluating your challenge rules, and showing you your own trade history and dashboard.

3. What we don't do

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not share your trading activity with anyone other than as needed to operate the platform (e.g. our payment provider, for processing the challenge fee).

4. Cookies

ApexSim uses cookies only for authentication — to keep you signed in and to verify your session. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

5. Data retention

We retain account and trading data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for audit and legal-compliance purposes (particularly payment records).

6. Your requests

To request a copy of your data or ask that your account be deleted, contact support@apexsim.example.
